2 accused in blast near rapper Badshah’s bar caught following police encounter

Days after an explosion near a bar in Chandigarh owned by rapper Badshah, two accused in the case were arrested by the Haryana Police following an encounter. The incident took place in Hisar, during a joint operation by the Haryana Special Task Force (STF) and the Chandigarh Police.
During the encounter, both the accused were injured after being shot in the leg and were subsequently arrested.
The two accused, identified as Ajit and Vinay, are residents of Hisar. Before the blast, they allegedly were in constant communication with gangster Goldy Brar, who had instructed them to execute the attack.
Both shooters were captured on CCTV while leaving the scene after the blast at the restaurant, owned by Badshah. Goldy Brar later claimed responsibility for the incident.
Two low-intensity blasts occurred outside nightclubs in Chandigarh’s Sector 26 early on November 26, causing minor damage to a property. The explosions, that took place between 2:30 am and 2:45 am, were caused by devices thrown by two suspects on a motorcycle, authorities said.
Gangsters Goldy Brar and Rohit Godara of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for the attack in a social media post. The post revealed an extortion demand had been made to the restaurant owners, but they did not respond.
No injuries took place, but the explosion shattered window panes and caused minor structural damage to the restaurants and a nearby club.
